Mediheal Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Soothing Barrier Ampoule

The Mediheal Tea Tree Calming Barrier Ampoule is a 50ml bottle that does two jobs at once, and the ingredient list makes the split obvious. Tea tree appears four separate times — leaf water standing in for part of the plain water, then extract, leaf oil and leaf extract — with 4-terpineol, the constituent that gives tea tree its reputation, listed on its own further down. That is the calming half; the brand's own line is that the multiple tea tree forms are the point.
